Information

Accessibility

Bo Dòkter should be clear, usable and readable for as many people as possible.

Our commitment

Bo Dòkter aims to make the website perceivable, understandable and usable for as many people as possible, regardless of device, language level or disability. Accessibility is ongoing work. This statement describes our aim, the measures taken and known limitations.

Standard and status

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA for pages, articles, navigation and forms managed by Bo Dòkter. The website has not yet been fully independently tested or certified. This statement therefore does not guarantee that every part is fully accessible with every combination of browser and assistive technology.

Website measures

  • a logical page structure with recognisable headings, regions and a link to skip directly to the main content;
  • keyboard operation of navigation and forms, with visible focus;
  • text that can be enlarged and pages that adapt to smaller screens;
  • sufficient colour contrast and information that is not conveyed by colour alone;
  • visible labels, instructions, error messages and error prevention in forms;
  • descriptive link text, text alternatives where needed and decorative icons hidden from assistive technology;
  • sufficiently large click and tap targets for mobile use;
  • support for the browser's reduced-motion setting.

Checks and maintenance

When making changes, we consider keyboard operation, focus order, forms, responsive display and understandable content. New or changed parts may nevertheless temporarily have accessibility issues. Reports help us identify, assess and, where reasonably possible, resolve problems.

Known limitations

External websites and services, such as Google Maps, social media, care organisations and SVB, are outside our technical control and may be less accessible. Charts, interactive filters and medical terminology may require additional explanation or an alternative for some visitors. Older or third-party information may also not yet be optimally presented everywhere.

Report a problem or request an alternative

Are you unable to read, understand or use information? Use the feedback page to tell us which page or feature is involved, what goes wrong and which device, browser or assistive technology you use. Do not include medical or other sensitive personal details. For a general accessibility question, you can also use the contact page .

We assess each report and try to offer a solution or usable alternative within a reasonable time. A specific result or response time cannot be guaranteed.

Do not use for emergencies

Accessibility and contact forms are not monitored continuously. For a possible threat to life, call Ambulance 912. For urgent GP care outside office hours, call HAP 9252.

Changes

We update this statement when the website, our accessibility approach or relevant guidelines change. The date above identifies the applicable version.
